saucer marked "Made in Japan" with katakana characters underneath
the katakana characters are associated with a mid 20th century export brand known as BiBi

pale green border with black waves
narrow blue strip with white polka dots
yellow flowers outlined in white
green leaves & stem outlined in black
saucer has gold ring in center & gold on edge
cup has gold on handle, rim & a circle of gold near base of cup

cup height: 2"
cup diameter: 3.5"

good vintage condition
some of the gold has worn off
no chips, nicks or cracks
